Italian Cookies with an Irish Blessing!

It all began back in 1954 when a fine 100% Irish girl, Patsy, met a fine 100% Italian boy, Joe. The two fell in love, married, and the very Irish wife immediately learned to cook and bake Italian specialties passed on to her from her very Italian mother-in-law, Donnata Chiuzzi Scola. Patsy's combined talents - a love of cooking and a flair for recipe enhancement - transformed this traditional Italian Cookie to its perfected state as we know, love and share it today.

The passion for cooking and baking continued and was passed along to the couple's daughter, Judy. Judy attended Johnson and Wales University, one of the top culinary schools in the country, to pursue expertise in both the culinary and business industries.

Years of bringing these delectable edibles to both formal and casual gatherings, only to repeatedly hear delightful praise such as "This is the best Italian cookie I have ever had!" and "Oh, these taste just like I remember when I was little..." and "These cookies are so soft!", made Judy realize that there was something very special about her family's recipe.

And so, armed with years of compliments and endless requests for these delicious, moist cookies, Judy and Patsy decided to embark on a mother-daughter venture to make the Italian Cookie available near and far. Try them yourself or send them to that special someone. Remind someone of their Italian heritage or start a new tradition!
